There were trails to forge...
And dinosaurs to scout out....
There were dino roars being sounded through the trails and Maggie kept her ears covered...
Until she got brave enough to get down... But then she kept signing "scared" and saying, "Sca-wee!!!"
Don't ya love her outfit? She is wearing a purple velvet dress and then right before we left she found her terrycloth swimsuit cover up and HAD to put that on over her princess dress!
Finally it was snack time, so we found a bench...

There were also pretty flowers.
This place is pretty neat. It has lots of hands on things for the kids to do. Here they are comparing their hands to the foot/hand prints of dinosaurs.

There was a playground for the kids to play on. Maggie is going to give me ulcers, I tell ya!!!!!
When we got back we had brats/hot dogs and then made homemade ice cream! And who better to help - but Dallin and Maggie!
And what else is there to do while we wait for the ice cream to get done - swing!!!

But then we had a little accident :(
She tried to scoop it back as she is crying her little heart out...
But there was plenty more where it came from and she got more!
And what better way to finish off the night???
But to watch Jurassic Park!!!

It does look like a wonderful time was had by all! Is the jacket Dallin is wearing that old ratty jacket that some thief put in the box after he took out the Value Tales books? The P.O. says they have been unsuccessful in recovering the books thus far. I'm not expecting they will :( Wish I could have had some of the ice cream!! What happened to all Maggie's curls??!! Love you! Mom
