Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day was a nice day off work for Scott. Most of you have already seen these photos... but I still wanted to post them.

We started out the day at the park before it got really hot. Maggie absolutely loves the slides. She was grinning from ear to ear. And of course Dallin's new way to slide!



Dallin just loves going to the Woody Woodpecker park. It has a wooden statue of Woody Woodpecker. That's why we call it that. It's actually called something else. It has a great trail around it that he rides his bike around and he loves all the slides. We go a lot in the spring and fall, but it's really hard to get there in the heat of the summer. Look at that cute dimple!!



Then Scott worked hard on the basement and the yard for a while. He took a break with us in the heat of the afternoon to set up and bowl Dallin down the slip-n-slide. It was really fun! Dallin has a little best friend behind our house that we invited over to play too...



It was a fun day with play and work. It was a really nice day with Scott at home. We miss him while he is at work all day.
